WORK EXPERIENCE
Senior Designer, Mercari, Inc. I September 2016 – Present
Responsible for product creative development (app, web), and marketing, working across various platforms including app, web, photography, animation and art direction. Served as a creative liaison between Tokyo and United States offices, and successfully rebranded our service in the U.S. Work with multiple agencies to direct and produce commercials and influencer campaigns.
Co-Founder/Chief Design Officer, The 10th Floor Inc. I March 2015 – February 2020
Sole developer of all design projects, including product, video, and website design - as well as managing finances, hiring, accounting, and all marketing aspects of the start-up. Established in-house projects such as installations and design products, which constituted communicating with external entities for manufacturing. Launched a Kickstarter campaign from one of our main projects.
Chief Brand Officer, Tokyo Supercars K.K I July 2017 – February 2019
Utilized my startup and creative expertise to scale the company from scratch, and get involved in key decisions as a member of the core team. In addition, I overlooked all design related work including branding, website, and brochures. Developed landing page, Filmed, edited, and created advertisements for marketing campaigns. Most notably, I built a detailed brand guideline for our service, covering all aspects of the brand.
Stage Designer, NHK ART, inc I November 2013 – December 2013
Designed, animated, and created stage layouts for artists including the famous AKB 48, for the most viewed show during the year 2013, “Kouhaku Uta Gassen.” Layouts were projected on the stage using projection mapping. Collaborated with a small team of professionals, and completed tasks in a timely manner under an extremely high-pressure and tight-schedule environment.

Used my international background and expertise to aid in the redesign of Skincare University’s website to allow for a more internationally-friendly interface. Cooperated with internal teams on various in-house projects, which included developing an AR promotion that later became its own department.
